Seven women. Seven stories. One light. Daughters of Noor* is a tribute to extraordinary women of faith whose courage, sacrifice, knowledge and devotion continue to illuminate generations. From Hajar ('Alayhi al-salam) running between Safa and Marwah in search of water, to Asiya ('Alayhi al-salam) holding firmly to faith in the house of Pharaoh. From the purity and devotion of Maryam ('Alayhi al-salam), to Khadija (Radiallahu anha)— the first to believe and the beloved wife who stood beside Rasulullah ﷺ when the world had yet to believe. We remember Fatima al-Zahra (Radiallahu anha), the radiant daughter of Rasulullah ﷺ; Zainab bint Ali (Radiallahu anha), whose courage remained unbroken after Karbala; and Aisha (Radiallahu anha), scholar and teacher whose knowledge continues to benefit the Ummah. And we honour the mother — whose love, sacrifice and service hold a status no worldly crown can measure. When they say women had no voice — remember Aisha who taught. When they say women were weak — remember Khadija’s strength. When they say women were hidden — remember Fatima’s light. When they say women were broken — remember how Zainab stood. When they call women lesser — Maryam and Asiya prove them wrong. And Hajar’s footsteps still carry us on.
