Die Goue Koor is an original Afrikaans Islamic Qawwali celebrating our love for the Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Inspired by the rich heritage of South African Muslims, this qalam weaves together the story of the early Muslims who brought Islam to the Cape, the legacy of Sheikh Yusuf of Macassar, the vibrant Bo-Kaap community, and the timeless love for Rasulullah ﷺ that continues to unite hearts today. Featuring traditional qawwali-inspired vocals, harmonium, daf, hand claps, and heartfelt congregational responses, this naat is a tribute to faith, heritage, and devotion.
